Pioneer Minerals (ASX: PMM) is a diversified mineral exploration company focused on advancing a portfolio of prospective mineral projects across the United States and Canada. The Company’s portfolio provides exposure to tungsten, gold, antimony, uranium and lithium, with a focus on identifying and advancing high-potential mineral systems in established mining jurisdictions.

The North Pine Project in Idaho is Pioneer’s flagship asset, covering approximately 18.4 km² across the Springfield and Silver Cliffs prospect areas. The Project is located immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold–Antimony Project and near other significant antimony and tungsten projects. North Pine hosts multiple mineralised systems, including a high-grade scheelite tungsten system at Springfield and a gold, silver and antimony epithermal system at Silver Cliffs. Rock-chip sampling has returned tungsten grades of up to 2.98% WO₃ and gold grades of up to 7.75 g/t Au at Springfield, while sampling at Silver Cliffs has returned up to 3.89 g/t Au and 34.8 g/t Ag with elevated antimony. A high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey has been completed across the Project to support geological modelling and the identification of priority drill targets. Recent petrographic studies have further supported an evolving geological model in which the Springfield mineralisation may form part of a larger intrusion-related tungsten system.

The Skull Creek Uranium Project in northwestern Colorado covers approximately 15.5 km² across 114 unpatented mining claims and extends along approximately 17 km of prospective stratigraphy within the Sego Sandstone. Historical exploration and Pioneer’s field programs have confirmed uranium mineralisation within the project area, with rock-chip assays returning up to 1,240 ppm U₃O₈ and handheld spectrometer readings exceeding 10,000 cps. Field mapping, radiometric surveying and soil sampling have identified multiple priority target areas, supporting continued exploration of the broader uranium system.

The Central Buttes Uranium Project in Wyoming provides Pioneer with exposure to the prolific Pumpkin Buttes uranium district. The Project targets sandstone-hosted roll-front uranium mineralisation within the Wasatch Formation and is located in an established uranium province containing numerous historical uranium occurrences. Central Buttes forms part of Pioneer’s U.S. uranium portfolio alongside Skull Creek and represents an additional opportunity for exploration targeting in a proven uranium district.

Pioneer also holds lithium exploration projects in Ontario, Canada, including the Benham and Root Lake Projects. These projects provide exposure to prospective LCT pegmatite systems within the Superior Province. The Company continues to assess exploration opportunities across its portfolio and will prioritise activities according to exploration results, market conditions and available capital.
